The first word @ Anfield !

JosB attended Anfield’s playgroup since Jan this year.
He is very quiet and does not talk in the class – no matter it is English or Mandarin.
Though I have well-practiced with him before the class, it is always disappointing.

“Where is Joshua ? Where is Joshua ? Where is he ? Where is he ?” teacher Meena asked.
“…..” there is always a complete silence.



This Sat, as usual, JosB ignored teacher when taking attendance.
He showed no interest in singing as well.
However, when it’s almost at the end of the class, during letterland’s time, he started to look at the alphabets book.
When it’s time for “A”, he said nothing.
When it’s time for “B”, he said nothing.
When it’s time for “C”, he said nothing, too.
When it’s time for “D”, he pointed at the book and said “duck” !
And some more, “dog” ! “drum” !

Finally …
Woh ! All of us were very surprised !
Both teacher Meena and MudMa were so happy :P
Hope that next time JosB would be more willing to talk in the class.
Hm… what will be the first Mandarin word he says at Anfield ?

P.S. Mom is like that …. she will try her very best to encourage her child to talk when he is still learning. When time goes by, when her child keeps on talking days and nights, she will try her very best to ask him to keep quiet … ha..ha…

感恩

化驗報告確診了，根據鄭醫生所估計，算是不幸中的大幸，應該是初期病變，手術後可望完全康服。

回想起星期二晚知道她腸裡有瘤到看報告的那三天，我不知道自己是怎樣熬過來的。但我明白了甚麼叫崩潰，每天有如行尸走肉般，會無緣無故在路上、巴士中、洗手間裡痛哭；完全不能工作，每天只是不停在網上尋找有關這病的資料，祈禱求神憐憫，更希望此事是發生在自己身上，而不是被我看為更寶貴的她。

到這時候，我才更明瞭生命中的優先次序；就算有多麼喜歡紅A公司的工作，沒有了她在我身邊的話，根本一切也變得沒有意義。

我相信神容許事情發生，一定有衪的深意；從這事上，我的價值觀已完全扭轉過來，重新看清楚自己的限制在那裡，也更明白自己最看重是甚麼。當死亡是可以如此接近時，還有甚麼名利值得留戀？

感恩是有上帝為我們的依靠，有教會的牧者、弟兄姊妹為我們一家祈禱。我會永遠記著昨晚黃牧師、師母及一班團契的弟兄姊妹哭著為我們禱告的情景。

主啊，我知道祢的恩典夠我們用！

A Big Day @ Kentville !

This is the 5th Parents’ Day for Sai Sai.
We have already get used to the procedures and environment.

“What do you want me to tell Miss Chan and Miss Mak ?” I asked as usual.
“hm… I don’t know … up to you ….” Sai Sai answered.
“But remember to check my four stars at the board. Just on the right hand side after you entered my classroom.” he added.



Don’t think that he is not care …
As usual, he called me some times after the assigned time slot.

“Mama, have you talked to Miss Chan ?”
“Yes.”
“Then, why you still not come back ?”
“….”

Thanks God, we don’t need to worry his school learning much.
So far, he is still able to handle and manage by himself – that saves us a lot of time.
As usual, there is still room for improvement on his concentration.
This monkey just can’t sit down properly for a longer while, and loves to talk to his friends even during lessons ….
Though he looks like his mom very much, this is something not inherited from me for sure …

We are glad that he loves his school very much.
Boy, be happy and enjoy the rest of the one and a half year !

You are under arrested !

You may not believe that JosB is so naughty ... but that's true !
He loves hiding things - his toys, big brother's toys, remote, books, balls ... whatever you could think of ....
And we could always find a lot of things under/on top of the sofa/table/chair/piano ...
and even under MudBa MudBa's blanket !!
That's why we must be very careful whenever and wherever we sit/lay down :P

One day, JosB did it again as usual while we're having dinner ...
Smart MudMa recorded what he had done !!
JosB, no excuse .... pls help to tidy up :)

Sai Sai is a big brother now.
He can teach and help JosB, if he has good mood :)

MudMa was so excited ... but a bit scared as well ....

Our Great Artist

There is no doubt that Sai Sai likes drawing and artwork.
MudMa is so happy that he finds something interested and can manage and enjoy.

This is a x'mas gift from Kentville school.
Sai Sai keeps on saying that we must wait ...
He can only do it when JosB is sleeping :P

Finally, we found a golden chance for it !
But JosB didn't sleep ... just that he's not interested ... and didn't distrub :)
And now, all these animals are resting in Sai Sai's room !

And one day after dinner, he suddenly took out a notebook and started to draw ....

He's very concentrated, MudBa MudMa dare not to distrub him ....

According to him, Baba Mama bring him out and go to a playground. He's so happy !

But ... where is JosB ?

He explained that JosB is taking a nap, that's why we didn't bring him out ...

What a brother ?!

囧

泥爸不才，一直以為囧字係火星文之一，加上某胡姓女藝人常做的委屈八字眉模樣而流行。

原來這是一個古漢字.....



「囧」粵音作「炯」，是古漢字，根據《康熙字典》的解釋，本義是指光明，與炯炯有神的「炯」相通.....

最利害係連甲骨文也有，所以話學海無涯係有道理的！

恭喜泥爸火車地盤好友艾文兄先有個漂亮可愛的囡囡，再來個精靈的小兒子，成其好字！

上星期六是艾文兄囝囝的滿月喜宴，感謝他的邀請，本來打算帶埋泥媽和泥哥到賀，但自私的泥爸想和其他好友暢談一番，最後也是"單拖"到會。可惜當見到漂亮的青春少艾玩作一團，又有些後悔冇帶泥哥來識多些女性朋友.....:p

不過泥爸真係很開心可以和以前一起成長的好兄弟見下面，吹下水！


(PS： 很感恩身為路癡專線司機的泥爸竟然一步到位，準確到達藍灣半島的停車場，基本上係個小神蹟呢！)

又係西九海濱長廊

上星期四泥爸媽請了半天假陪伴孩子，還邀請了添美表哥同行，地點是極近孩子熱愛的ICC 的西九海濱長廊。

三個男孩玩得好開心呢！

係最唔明阿泥點解間中就好似好憂國憂民咁？

之後我地去了成日排晒長龍的Shakey's Pizza吃晚飯，yummy, yummy !!

Mom's Series - Creation

It was so amazing when Isaiah and Joshua were inside my tummy.
I can’t imagine a life is growing inside and with me.
Until now, I can’t forget that feeling … it’s so warm and real.
Some people may find pregnancy a difficult time but I enjoyed the precious moment very much.
Thanks God that I don’t have much sickness, so that I could enjoy the full baby ownership for 9 months ! And two times, he..he..
To me, it’s really a big gift as a mom :P

Isn’t it incredible to have each baby to have the same structure but different appearance ?
No matter they are with the same parents or not …
No matter what color their skin is …

Isn’t it amazing to have such complicated structure in a tiny body ?
Not to mention our DNA …
Just think about our brain, heart and other internal organs …
From bones and muscles, to blood vessels and lymph system ...

Isn’t it interesting for all of us to have different characters ?
Some are active and outgoing .. some are gentle and quiet …
Some are easy-going, but some are firm and stubborn …
All these make us different and unique !

創世記 1:27 神就照著自己的形像造人，乃是照著他的形像造男造女。

Baby is very fragile indeed.
Just a small ‘error’ may make something wrong.
It seems to be normal but who can guarantee a baby with a pair of eyes and ears, a nose and a mouth, two hands and foots with ten fingers and toes ?
The heart beats should go on but it may just stop for no reason.
No matter how cautious a mom to be, sometimes it just can't explain.

Having a healthy baby, it was just nothing but a great blessing. Really !
Does all those healthy food and vitamins help ?
What about keeping yourself healthy and taking more rest ?
Or, a famous doctor with a good hospital ?
I’m afraid not …

I’m glad to have a chance to experience part of the creation from God.

Apart from some vocab like :
car, duck, horse, cow, pig, star, sun, moon, sock, bed, book, light, rice, juice, milk

if you point at different parts of his body and ask "What is this ?", he will say ....
Head, eye, ear, nose, mouth, neck, cheek, chin, hand, foot !

MudMa will try to record this significant moment for all of you to witness the milestone :)

Hope that he could learn more and more willing to talk very soon !
To be as talkative as his big brother :)

年初七夫婦小組團拜

是日人日，也是我們夫婦小組的團拜大日子，雖然各路弟兄姊妹有要事未能出席，仍然未能阻卻我們希、柔、泥三氏互拜的決心。

先多謝集活潑、可愛、好動於一身的希希借出如銀河沙數般的玩具給孩子們，數量多到泥兄弟和柔柔唔知玩邊樣先至好。:P

其次要多謝Coco，犧牲小我，圓了三名沒有飼養寵物孩子的心願.....任摸任捏！！場面既悲壯，也感人。

孩子常常要求養寵物，泥媽話睇下他是否能照顧自己先啦。

但係.....他爸爸都好似未得喎，泥媽！

全場最佳造型由泥B奪得，眾aunties、uncles話佢勁似麵包超人？！

唉，又多個花名添......:P
