What's it ?

Guess what it is ?
It is one of Sai Sai's favourite food.
It is the first non-home-made food (except bread) for JosB.

It was the n-th shots for me to take a better one for Sai Sai.
(As he just ignores me and unwilling to look at the camera...)

It made JosB to feed by himself, and even hold the bowl tight ....

Ha...ha... it's cheap and can find in a lot of places.

Sai Sai took one bowl and then 'helped' JosB to finish the other half ....

This little 'magic' could keep the two monkeys stay at their own chairs ... at least for a while :)

It's Dec !

Sai Sai started "Dec count down" since the last week of Nov.

He kept on telling me there're how many days left each day.

10, 9, 8, 7 ..... 3, 2, 1 !!

"I love Dec ! It's because there're so many presents and parties !!"

What a simple and direct reason for a 4.5 yrs old boy.

He doesn't like taking photos since he was three.

However, he's more than happy to take photos with x'mas tree :)

See, so happy and cooperative !

"Can you remember whose birthday is in Dec ?" I just wonder if he could still remember MudBa's birthday.

"Jesus Christ !" he answered almost at once.

Thanks God ! You're really in his heart !! How amazing and happy !

P.S. Sai Sai has good memory, how can he forget MudBa's birthday ? Of course, he still remembered, just only after Jesus Christ :)

歷史篇 – 紅Ａ招牌

上星期二去了紅Ａ Orientation，Orientation者，不外乎都係關於公司歷史、精神、文化等等。本來無乜嘢好寫，但係對紅Ａ招牌的解讀卻很是有趣，可以和大家分享。

泥爸一直以為紅Ａ招牌中的三個英文字只是公司名稱的縮寫，事實原來絕不簡單。

話說招牌原本是黑底金字，重要好似玉壐般有個金邊圍住。點解係金色？金漆招牌嘛！

至於中間大大隻好似個胃咁樣嘅字就係代表維多利亞港，兩邊嘅英文字母分別代表香港島及九龍半島（唔好問我點解無咗新界！），圍邊表示公司建基於這地方起樓！

寓意深長！

傳說中設計這個招牌的兩位designers的其中一位重係公司，真係好想知係邊位高手。

家下大家常見的紅底白字只不過是為了印刷上的方面（因為金色好難印得好，至於點解要用紅色就自己諗下啦！）。

在一些隆重場合，都係會用番個金漆招牌嘅！

男孩的天空

16號泥氏和陳氏到西九海濱長廊走了一轉，泥氏相當喜歡這裡，真係好難係市中心揾到一個如此舒適的地方給孩子們走動。

除了有綠油油的草地，沙池和playground外，更有埋單車徑，再加上無敵維港景色，又近圓方，下次玩完重可以吃個Tea添！

孩子們玩到唔願走呀！

玩到黃昏先走，個咸旦黃真係好得！

相信好快會再來.....

第三次迪士尼酒店

林氏一族第三次住迪士尼酒店了，第一次紅白屋，第二次藍屋，今次當然揀番紅白屋啦。雖然孩子因為住不到藍屋而哭了出來，但泥爸媽一至認為這間好得多。





基本上這兩日一夜的旅程絕對冇投訴，九號到藍屋食lunch，十號就和米奇食早餐，孩子們攬完米奇又攬高菲，好不開心！


張相是在恩影的，所以話家下影相真係器材先決.....

泥兄弟好喜歡個迷宮，如果泥爸細個都有得玩就好了。

感謝主，連個天都係蔚藍色的。

第Ｎ次的迪士尼之旅

泥爸是個大唔透的大頑童，很多小朋友玩意也非常喜歡。因此迪士尼絕對是林氏一族常到的地方。

今個月九、十號，林氏一族又入場了。這是阿泥第三次（第一次重係泥媽個肚入面），泥哥第Ｎ次的旅程。

諗諗下迪士尼應該畀個獎我們這類死硬派支持者喎！

一如所料，人流稀少，大部份遊戲都唔多使排隊。正！

十號是根德假期，泥哥還遇到K1的書友仔添。

總括來說，雖然已沒有了驚喜，但一家人輕輕鬆鬆玩兩日，泥爸滿足矣！

再說根德 (後篇)

泥爸寫"再說根德"之初本來沒有打算分前、後篇，但係寫下寫下唔係好夠時間寫完，唯有呃多篇稿。

回想最初為孩子選校時泥爸媽分別以"英文地基"及根德園為首的兩派幼稚園為目標。

當決定讓孩子讀傳統中小學後，根德便成為首選。原因可能大家都知道，因為根德是公認課程最深，將來函接傳統小學也容易些。況且泥爸媽也是這些中小學出身，泥爸可以應付的，天資聰穎孩子當然也可以啦！

事實上孩子真的在根德學了很多，尤其是中文，所要認識的生字多得嚇了泥爸媽一跳。

至於根德是否最大壓力的幼稚園，我們不知道。就算是，從小學會面對和處理壓力，正正是近代”溫室小孩”所缺乏的！

但重點係，孩子有壓力嗎？可以說沒有，根德最強的地方是使孩子寓學習於娛樂，每天在恩用在應付功課的時間很少，約半個多小時吧，他根本覺得是遊戲的一部分…Orz…..

其他時間就用來畫下畫咁啦！

Ha..ha..ha... believe it or not ? JosB got the offer !!
Really don't know how they make the decision .... but it's a good start anyway :)

Now, it's MudBa & MudMa's turn.
Should we pay and reserve the place, if it's not our first choice ?

Two weeks later, we'll have the interview for our first choice ...

A real swim

In Mud's Family, we are used to say bathing as "swimming", since Sai Sai was born.
So, Sai Sai and JosB swim everyday ... in the bathing room :P

But in fact, we seldom really swim - that's something I feel sorry for the boys.
Maybe Sai Sai and JosB take turn to get sick since Sai Sai was K1.
Maybe it often rains whenever we have time at weekend or holiday.
Maybe Baba Mama are always too tired.
Maybe window shopping and eating are more attractive.
Maybe Mama does not know how to swim.
Maybe Baba is too lazy ...

But finally ....

Sai Sai has started his first swimming lesson in Nov08 (starting in autumn/winter ? what a crazy parent !).
Anyway, he is very very excited and really looking forward to the lesson.
See, he loves the swimming cap very much and keep putting on it at home.
He wants to remember it's time when he is four years old :)

This picture was taken on the first day of the swimming lesson - warm up exercise.

Unfortunately, he got sick and had fever at that night .....
And then, running nose and coughing .... for a week ...
And then, transfered to JosB ...
for another week ....

Even he got sick in the first lesson, Sai Sai still wants to swim.

"I want to learn how to swim, but I only learn once ...." he said disappointedly.

He will have the second class this Fri. We've bought a warmer for him.
Hope that he won't get sick again. Don't forget to pray for him :)

再說根德 (前篇)

孩子上K2也有兩個多月了！
他真的很愛這所學校，就如泥爸愛紅Ａ公司一般（如果老闆見到唔知有冇人工加呢？:P）

泥爸媽亦很滿意自己的選擇，基本上學校對父母沒有任何要求；唔好講什麼家教會，連親子旅行也沒有。只要交足學費，老師便會使到孩子自自然然地完成：-
(1) 每日三樣家課，中英數各一頁（晚飯前完工）；
(2) 每星期中英默書各一次；
(3) 自動自覺用街簿溫習所學到的 。

泥爸媽每天晚上只需要循例檢查一下字體寫得核唔核突。（留意：唔係睇下寫得靚唔靚，因為一定唔靚:P)

對雙職雙子的泥爸媽來說，這實在非常重要。在晚飯後，我們可以不用理會他的功課，和他玩下，練下琴等等。

如果泥爸媽有精神，又可以教孩子學其他東西；如串下英文生字，在九、十月時學加減數，最近背九因歌.....。

JosB's first interview

On the first day of Nov, it was a sunny day. A special and important day for JosB.
But of course, he doesn't know .....
The day before, Sai Sai kept asking what is an interview ...
hm ... good question, how to explain to a four and a half years old boy ?
"To talk to some teachers and show them you're a smart boy. Then, you can go to the nice school. Just like you last year !" Seems that he was quite satisfied with my answer :P

But, for a just one and a half years old boy to attend an interview.
It just means ... nothing.
JosB won't care if the teacher likes him or not.
He does not mind getting low marks.
He is not afraid of difficult questions or instructions, because he does not plan to say or do anything ?!
Mom, especially he was just forced to wake up and his sweet dream was just being distrubed. What do you expect from him ?

Anyway, both JosB and MudMa enjoyed the 5 min interview. (Yes, just 5min - because JosB was not interested to talk to the teacher ..)

These pictures were taken after the interview.

MudMa decided to stay longer, because she didn't feel good (and actually a bit silly) to leave the school in just 20 min (including registration, interview and classrooms visit).

And it was the first time for JosB to ride on this type of car.

Yes, he liked it more than the school and teacher :)

We'll know if JosB is accepted next week.

My First T-Shirt

This is the second arts work by Sai Sai.
Mama likes it very much !
An African T-shirt - as usual, he put his favourite Giraffe on it.
Do you know what's in front ?
ha...ha.. of course, his name, his class, his class number, the year ...
and his kindergarten logo !
He really likes his school :)

A New Playground

This is a nearby playground, but it is the first time for Sai Sai and JosB to go there.
To a kid, as long as it is a playground or just have some space for them to run, run and run, it's a good place already.

This time, big brother doesn't want to play with small brother.
You see, he got a new friend ! A girl again ... :P
They played together for some time, but they don't know each other ...

Poor little brother, he still enjoy playing by himself.

See, he doesn't need any help !

有時候泥爸唔係好攪得清楚孩子那句是真、那句是假。

如上星期六孩子忽然說要用電子計算機繪圖返學交回給老師，從未聽說孩子於根德學過電子計算機，無啦啦畫乜嘢畫呀？

當然，無論有多大的疑問，為免孩子欠交功課，廿四孝老豆都係OK冇問題的:P

因此，名畫家在恩‧林的首幅電子作品誕生了。

睡Ｂ

說泥B似爸爸其實一點也不錯，就連小時候極度難哄入眠和睡不恬的特質也完全給老翻了。

如昨晚般很得戚地食完手指餅，再飲飲下奶就自己睡著更從未試過發生（係car seat瞓例外:P）。

可惜都係成晚係咁醒，辛苦了泥媽.....

藝術家？

在恩很喜歡做勞作，畫公仔，在家中拿著廢紙也可畫上半天！
泥爸媽為他揀興趣班時，也為他預留了一個Art Class。

孩子非常、非常的喜歡，往往於星期五晚就盼望明天的到來。
在親子讀經祈禱後就急不及待地說明天要做甚麼甚麼！

孩子的第一幅作品使泥爸媽驚嘆不已。

雖然不會夢想他成為藝術家，但能夠幫助他找到所喜歡的「課餘活動」，好開心！

老夫子与大番薯

阿泥漸漸成長，個性也顯露出來，基本上他是BB泥爸的”番梘”。

好聽的話就是可愛、活潑、好動；白一點說就係傻豬、扭計、百厭。

近期最經典的事例是昨午泥哥返學後，露比姐姐開門掉垃圾時，他自己走去閂埋度門，自我反鎖。極度恐慌的露比姐姐只有到管理處求助。

管理處立刻通知泥爸，可惜遠水不能救近火；甚麼爆門，報警都想過，只想第一時間救番阿泥。

幸好紅Ａ附屬管理公司的管理人員機警，由隔離屋爬窗入屋做雷霆救兵，雖然是短短的十數分鐘，不過泥B都喊都儍了，使泥爸心痛不已。

當然，大部份時間泥B都是傻裡傻氣的，時常都被哥哥頤指氣使。泥爸媽看在眼裡，總覺得家中有對老夫子与大番薯…..

蜜月期

在紅Ａ公司已工作了兩個多月，泥爸很滿意.......唔係，係非常喜歡這份工作。

喜歡到一個地步，連泥媽都頂唔順，叫泥爸唔好成日提住紅Ａ公司....Orz.....

可能是蜜月期吧，又或許是工種問題。雖然要處理和決定的事比以往都多，但工作的滿足感也大了很多。

希望這個蜜月期可以長一點就好了。
